Too often, Officers are KILLED in scenarios like this one I saw from my friends at Richmond Police in Virginia, USA. Read the scenario below. This officer MPO Wilson was brave and did an EXCELLENT JOB! Look at what happened to The RCMP cops in Canada last week in Moncton.

Today's Good News: Police officers often have to evaluate a situation and act quickly based on the knowledge available at the time and their training. One of the hardest decisions they can make is waiting to further assess what’s going on while their backup is on the way. That was the case recently for First Precinct Master Patrol Officer Brian Wilson of Sector 112, who was called to investigate a report of an armed person inside a residence looking for an individual.
Rather than rush into the residence, he approached with caution, monitored the residence and listened for arguing and any sign of violence. He also set up a perimeter and shut down the street while keeping supervisors informed. When the ballistic shield arrived for protection, he assisted with getting people safely out of the residence and into custody while the investigation continued.
Thanks to his patience and good investigative work, he was able to find the gun, connect it to a man in the home and place multiple felony and misdemeanor charges. Good work MPO Wilson!
