Location: 1400 block of East Brookland Park Blvd.

At approximately 10:15 p.m., Ellis was shot while walking with friends in the 3000 block of 4th Avenue. He ran to the 1400 block of East Brookland Park Boulevard where he collapsed. He was taken to the hospital where he later died of his injuries.
