#Remembering Kesean Williams, a 9 year old GUNNED DOWN a year ago Jan 23rd 2013 @PeelPoliceMedia

Kesean Williams

It’s been a year since Kesean Williams was gunned down in his Brampton, Canada  home and the nine-year-old boy’s killer has yet to be caught.

Peel Regional Police have not given up the hunt and at 10 a.m. Thursday the head of Homicide will update the media on their investigation.

“(We’ll) share some evidence, appeal for information and let everyone know we are still working this (case) as hard as ever,” Insp. George Koekoek tells The Sun.

Kesean was watching television in his family’s townhome on Ardglen Dr., near Kennedy Rd. S. and Clarence St., when a bullet pierced the living room window and struck the boy in the head just before 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 23, 2013.

The gunman disappeared into the night.

Toronto sun will have live updates from the press conference at Peel Regional Police headquarters so hit up the source.

What hurts the most is that this young man just moved in this apartment with his parents and the former residents were troublemakers as I heard. The gunman had no idea that it was a set of new residents that had moved in. Help police find them. Say something, be a witness, call Crime Stoppers. I had just left Canada when it happened and wtill fight gun violence online.

#HNNFoundation MOM pleads in Northern California after her two sons 13 and 19 were SHOT and KILLED 19 days apart.

These kind of murders are the types when guns have to really be restricted and the signs of gang warfare everywhere as two brothers are killed. I have a 13 year old. WHY did anyone do this?? Pls help the police if you know anything. I strongly encourage snitches to come out!

The AP reports that a Northern California mother pleaded for justice Tuesday, two days after her eldest teenage son was fatally shot and just three weeks after her youngest son suffered a similar fate.

Dinyal New made her plea outside her home just blocks from a growing makeshift memorial of flowers and candles in a quiet neighborhood in east Oakland where her oldest son, 19-year-old Lamar Broussard, and a childhood friend were shot and killed on Sunday - just three days after burying her youngest son.

New's youngest son, 13-year-old Lee Weathersby III, was shot about a mile away on New Year's Eve. He died the next day.

"All my boys are gone," said New, 41, as she begged for witnesses who may know anything about the killings to contact police.

"I'm numb. I am stunned. I am mad. I am angry and hurt," New continued. "I hope that somebody please comes forward if they saw something to tell the police."

New pleaded with those who knew the victims that no retaliation occur in response to the shootings.

"You know what my retaliation will be? To see whoever did this be convicted and sentenced in a courtroom," New said. "No, no, no. Please, no retaliation."

Sunday's killings were Oakland's fourth and fifth of 2014. The city had 92 homicides last year, down from 131 in 2012 and the lowest since 2004.

Rapper Doe B GUNNED down in #Alabama night club now shut down. Suspect CAUGHT!

Doe B, Alabama, Grand Hustle, Hustle Gang, suspect arrested, Jason McWilliams

Police have been searching for the gunman in a weekend shooting that killed two, including 22-year-old rapper Doe B, and wounded six others. (UPDATE: A suspect has turned himself in and faces double murder charges.)

The incident took place early on December 28 at a Montgomery, Alabama, nightclub. Doe B, whose real name is Glenn Thomas, and Kimberle Johnson, 21, both died in the gunfire, Montgomery police said in a statement. Mayor Todd Strange announced action to shut down the Centennial Hill Bar and Grill, where the shooting took place despite the club's security guards.

Doe B was signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle Records, according to Billboard, which notes the rapper's trademark eyepatch came from another shooting three years earlier. The Hustle Gang member recently appeared alongside T.I. and Juicy J on "Let Me Find Out (Remix)"and with Rich Homie Quan on "2 Many." This summer, Doe B released his Baby Jesusmixtape, which you can hear and download below via Audiomack.

Remembrances poured in for Doe B from throughout the rap world on Twitter. T.I. wrote, "RIP to my lil brother Doe B. We gon miss u my nigga. U'll never be forgotten & U WILL NOT DIE IN VAIN. We Love U champ. Always." Drake, Juicy J, Mike WiLL Made It (SPIN's 2013 Artist of the Year), B.o.B., and Young Dro were all among those paying their respects. So was Meek Mill, who lost his own protégé, Louisiana rapper Lil Snupe, to gun violence earlier this year.

Doe B's management, the Blueprint Group, asked fans to remember the rapper for his music rather than the way he died. "Doe B was an amazing young man, in every sense of the word," the group said in a statement. "A truly talented artist, a loving father and a dedicated member of the hip hop community at large, he touched the lives of the many people who had the privilege of knowing him."
The statement continued: "The Blueprint Group offers our condolences to his label Interscope / Hustle Gang, management DJ Frank White and Brooklyn Knights, and most of all his family, friends and fans at this very difficult time. We ask that you remember him not by his untimely death, but by his love of life and the music he left behind."

Doe B, suspect, double murder, Jason McWilliams, mug shot
Jason McWilliams
UPDATE:  Police have arrested Jason McWilliams, a 25-year-old from Montgomery, in connection with the shooting deaths. McWilliams is charged with two counts of capital murder. He turned himself in late on December 29, according to police.

"An investigation indicates that the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute between McWilliams and Thomas," police said in the announcement. They provided no other details about McWilliams aside from the mug shot above. Ironically Doe B's eyepatch came from another shooting and I don't quite understand why the suspect has one too.

These guns are just in the wrong hands. Doe B sang a lot about using his guns so I am virtually speechless.

#RIP Rapper E-9 GUNNED DOWN after argument in a Barber shop!

E-9

The man shot and killed over the weekend in a New Jersey salon has been identified as up-and-coming rapper Eric “E-9″ Andrews Jr, reports NJ.com. Authorities received a 911 call about a reported shooting on Saturday (December 28) afternoon at the Nu Trendz hair salon in Franklin Township. Upon arrival, police found Andrews suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. According to a friend of the rapper, Andrews was shot after an argument with another individual at Nu Trendz.

E-9 was a part of the duo, 6FO, with George Opoku. As a group, the two had previously worked with the likes of Waka Flocka Flame for the track, “M.O.N.E.Y.” and were reportedly scheduled to play SOB’s in New York on New Year’s Eve.

The bloodbath continues after Doe B was killed 2 weeks ago, Lil Snupe earlier, and also sad hip-hop deaths of Lord Infamous and Waka's brother KayORedd.
