We are watching in Africa!! Below is my statement as a Gun Violence Activist and I must admit, this is how honest I feel.
I am Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo, News Director @HNNAfrica in Nigeria. Everybody talks, I am in the frontline of gun violence. As you know I am a globally known gun violence activist AMONG OTHER THINGS. I agreed with the grand jury decision. Michael Brown was a shoplifter who got in an altercation with police, the cop defended himself. Blacks destroying their own cities again, Americans displaying foolishness. I taught my black sons living as adults in America, 27 and 23 not to steal or get into breaking the law.

We need to focus on our black kids who KILL others daily in gun violence and not always go after police (especially white ones) AND WHITE FOLKS. THERE ARE A FEW EXCEPTIONS BUT we need to look at ourselves. Torching businesses and looting just shows how blacks have lost respect. I lived 30 yrs over there and fought gun violence 5 yrs in Canada.  Police are trained to shoot and defend themselves if suspects try to overpower thems in any way. There is NO NEED for these foolish images I see on global cable networks all day. Even Al Sharpton calling for peace and ripping the arsonists and looters has not looked at the shirt of the guy next to him at this presser.

Yahoo News reports that the Patrolman’s father recently sought prayers for a ‘very challenging’ family situation. Wilson is not the first cop let alone white cop to shoot and KILL a black kid, so why are they hiding so much?  Even yahoo blackened out the father's name to avoid being bombarded with friend requests? So much being hidden I'm afraid it's only going to get worse. No accountability and transparency.

#Ferguson police identify officer in Michael Brown shooting

Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson identified Darren Wilson as the officer who fatally shot Michael Brown. The killing of the unarmed teen sparked protests and violence in the St. Louis suburb. He is said to have fled town with his family. But a big mistake was committed by the police themselves. The police did NOT snitch! Now I can't get people to snitch to police in the shooting this morning after the imposed curfew.

Ferguson Police still hasn't released the officer's picture. He's been a cop for 6 years and the Chief didn't take questions saying the press will get a package. It gets more sickening daily and Journalists have even ben arrested and teargassed by Chief Tom Jackson's men. Watch the video.

All the networks were in Ferguson as a curfew was put in place for the overnight hours in Ferguson, Mo., but some protesters were still out late showing defiance over the Michael Brown shooting. Police say there was no looting. Omar Villafranca of CBS News reports here in this VIDEO
