More than 180 artists and music industry leaders including Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Billy Joel, Katy Perry, Questlove, Lady Gaga and Paul McCartney have signed a letter asking Congress to do more to prevent gun violence.
In the open letter, appearing in the latest issue of Billboard, the signers are calling for a background check for every gun sale and to block suspected terrorists from buying guns.
